Sanxia Highway and the three Gorges Golden Waterway are bustling with traffic and ships on April 1. The Sanxia Highway is a section of G348 and the only national road to the Three Gorges Project. It starts from the Huangbai River Bridge in the urban area and ends at the Xiling Yangtze River Bridge in the Three Gorges Dam area. The highway integrates popular science touring with nature to help people get rich. It will become a 39.6-kilometer green trail along the Xiling Gorge after the renovation, connecting three national 5A scenic spots including the Three Gorges tribe scenic spot, the Three Gorges Dam, and Qu Yuan's Hometown.
