On March 31, a variety of cultural and sports activities were launched under the initiative of “Public-Interest Cultural Programs” in Heping Village, Yuyang District, Dangyang County. These activities, including joyful and healthy run, kite-flying competition, tug-of-war, and outdoor sketching, aimed to meet the ever-growing intellectual and cultural demands of the local communities and to promote social civility and revitalize the cultural landscape of the rural areas. The Yuyang Sub-District Office plans to carry out more activities, such as basketball tournaments and community-wide reading activity, in the future, to provide high-quality cultural products and services and continuously enhance the sense of fulfillment and happiness among the rural people.
