　　On May 5, the left side of the Tingquan Bridge in the third bid section of Huaxi Road was completed six months ahead of schedule, according to the Yichang High-Speed Rail New City Project Department. The construction, which took 14 months, is expected to be put into operation by June 30 of this year. The travel time from downtown to the Yichang North Railway Station will be reduced to just 15 minutes, further enhancing inter-city transportation.
