Zigui County, located in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area, is taking advantage of its natural ecological resources, particularly the cool climate found in its high-altitude regions that exceed 800 meters above sea level, to boost its tourism industry. The county's tourism offerings are centered on dining, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment. Significant investments have been made in infrastructure to develop high-altitude summer resorts, outdoor camping areas, and paragliding spots as wellness destinations. Local farmers are being encouraged to transform their homes into agritourism resorts or homestays to cater to the diverse needs of tourists.

　　All of these initiatives are aimed at attracting visitors looking for a summer getaway, with the goal of stimulating the local tourism economy and promoting rural revitalization. According to the Bureau of Culture and Tourism of Zigui County, more than 500,000 tourists have visited the high-altitude summer retreats this year, representing a 10% increase compared to the same period last year.
