Recently, the Yangtze River-to-Han River Water Diversion Project, an integral part of the South-to-North Water Diversion Program, has been under full-fledged construction. At the Longtanxi Water Intake area located in Taipingxi Town, Yiling District, at the heart of the Three Gorges Reservoir Area, a bustling scene unfolds as heavy-duty machinery roars into action. Excavators and rock drilling rigs work intensively, driving the project forward. All contractors engaged in various sections of the project have been fully mobilized and are immersed in the construction.

　　Since the inception of the project, Yiling District has established a dedicated command center focusing on the Yangtze River-to-Han River Project. Specialized task forces have been proactively deployed to provide frontline support and ensure the seamless progression of the construction. This project is a major undertaking in the subsequent phase of the South-to-North Water Diversion initiative and is a landmark project in the effort to accelerate the construction of the national water network's main framework and arteries.
