On November 2, workers were producing canned citrus on the production line at the citrus processing workshop of Qugu International Agricultural Group in Zigui County.

　　In response to the orange harvest season, several food processing enterprises located in the Three Gorges Reservoir Region have ramped up production of canned delicacies targeted at foreign markets. Renowned as “the land of navel oranges in China,” Zigui has, in recent years, implemented strategies to foster a comprehensive citrus industry chain by integrating resources from enterprises, orchards, cooperatives and farmers.
