　　As of November 5, the ship lift system of the Three Gorges Dam has provided over 500,000 passenger trips in 2024, setting a new record since its operation, the Three Gorges Navigation Authority said.

　　Since the beginning of this year, the classic tourist route from the Gezhouba Dam to the Three Gorges Dam via the Xiling Gorge has gained popularity again, attracting a large number of visitors. In August, the Three Gorges ship lift system experienced its highest volume of passenger trips and the high-frequency operations in history, with a peak of over 4,000 passenger trips in a single day.
