Recently, the construction of the Juhe River Viaduct at the XYYCTJ-4 section of the Yichang segment of the Xiangyang-Yichang Expressway, undertaken by Hubei Communications Investment Group, has been progressing steadily in Cihua Village, Yuan’an County. The Xiangyang-Yichang Expressway, as part of the national expressway G3612 spanning from Pingdingshan to Yichang, connects Yichang and Xiangyang, two sub-center cities in Hubei Province, and reduces the travel time between the two cities from 3 hours to 1.5 hours. The Yichang segment of the expressway is approximately 88.46 kilometers long, and the project is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2027. (Correspondent/Yi Yuhua)
