On March 6, a cruise vessel was sailing through the Zigui stretch of Xiling Gorge. In early spring, the gorge was embraced in an enchanting spring panorama, and along the Yangtze River’s jade-hued waters, peach blossoms in full bloom adorned both banks like delicate pink brushstrokes against the verdant mountain canvas. As the ship glided through this natural gallery, the dynamic interplay of floral hues, emerald waves and mist-crowned hills coalesced into a living Chinese landscape painting.
