Tourists were watching a live performance at the Three Gorges Tribe Scenic Area in Yichang, April 10.

　　Hubei Provinceannounced two newly designed cultural tourism routes, “Shen-Wu-Xia” and “Chi-Huang-Hong”, at the 2025 Hubei Cultural Tourism Development Conference held in Wuhanon April 25.Thisinitiative aims to elevate Hubei into a globally renowned cultural tourism destination and drive itstourism industry toward a trillion-yuan scale.

　　The “Shen-Wu-Xia” international eco-cultural tourism route spans western Hubei and connects iconic scenic spots such as the Wudang Mountain, the Shennongjia Scenic Spot, the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, and the Enshi Grand Canyon. It links seven world-class natural and cultural landmarks and twelve national 5A-rated scenic areas.

　　The “Chi-Huang-Hong” Jingchu cultural tourism route focuses on southeastern Hubei, covering cities such as Jingzhou, Xianning, Wuhan and Hong’an. Key attractions include the Honghu Lake, the historic Chibi Battlefield from the Three Kingdoms era, the Yellow Crane Tower and the Huangma Uprisingand Hubei-Henan-Anhui Soviet Area Memorial Parks.( Xinhua/Xiao Yijiu)
