The Taipingxi Sewage Treatment Plant in Yiling District was treating sewage collected from Taipingxi Town and its surrounding areason August 11.

　　In recent years, Yiling Districthas vigorously implemented comprehensive domestic sewage treatment initiatives. It is the first district in Hubei Province that hasachievedfull coverage of sewage treatment plants in towncenters. Since 2023, the district has newly built and upgraded 16 sewage treatment plants in 13 townships (sub-districts and experimental areas), while adopting 6S management to enhance operational efficiency. All facilities now comply with the national first-class A discharge standard.
