Runner representatives displaying the finisher medals and race apparels

　　On September 10, the 2025 Yichang Marathon, sponsored by GAC Group, held a signing ceremony to announce its designation as a World Athletics Elite Label Road Race—a significant upgrade in status.

　　During the conference, the organizers also unveiled the event’s apparel and medal designs. The apparel incorporates design elements inspired by the Three Gorges Dam and flowing water patterns. The medal, on the other hand, draws on Ba-Chu cultural elements and ecological themes, featuring motifs such as the Sun God carved stone and the Yangtze finless porpoise, highlighting Yichang’s unique regional identity.
