In Nanmuxi Village, citrus farmers have begun harvesting their first ultra-early ripening tangerines, kicking off the season.

　　It was learnt from the Yichang Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs on September 25that, Yichang’s vast citrus orchards are expecting a bumper harvest this autumn. The ultra-early ripening varieties are the first to be picked across Yichang’s more than 139,300 hectares of citrus groves.
