On November 2, the 2025 Yichang Marathon kicked off along the RiversideAvenue. Starting at 7:30 a.m., the event attracted 10,000 runners from 33 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across China.

　　The race arranged both full and half marathon events. The 42.195-kilometer route connected several of Yichang’s landmarks, including Binjiang Park, Yiling Yangtze River Bridge, Tianran Tower, Zhixi Yangtze River Bridge, and the Olympic Sports Center, offering runners a panoramic view of Yichang’s riverside scenery.
