On December 10, the municipal infrastructure project of Huaxi Road was officially opened to traffic. Stretching approximately 13.84 kilometers, the road features a two-way six-lane main section with no traffic lights. Designed for a speed of 80 kilometers per hour, it enables a 15-minute direct connection between Yichangdong Railway Station and Yichangbei Railway Station.

　　As an important component of the expressway network of Yichang, Huaxi Road links the High-speed Rail New Area and Longquan Town with the urban center, contributing significantly to regional development and improved urban functionality.
