On the evening of March 3, the 15th day of the first lunar monthinChinese Calendar, Xiling District in Yichang hosted a vibrant folk parade to celebrate the traditional Lantern Festival. The highlight of the event was a spectacular display of traditional dragon and lion dances, which paraded through the downtown area to the rhythmic beat of gongs and drums. Starting from Ermalu Road, the procession featured waist-drum troupes and lantern bearers, winding its way along a festive route that passed Binjiang Park, the Night Market on Taozhu Road, and Jiefang Road before concluding at the west gate of Children's Park.
