A trendy coffee shop named “EXIT” at “Little Qingdao”

“EXIT” is teeming with visitors.

“Little Qingdao” becomes a popular check-in spot where natives enjoy leisure and sightseeing.
In recent years, “Little Qingdao” on the main river side of the Gezhouba Dam has undergone a remarkable transformation and became a popular check-in spot for leisure and sightseeing. Through ecological restoration, the construction of walking trails and the introduction of a café to enhance the visitor experience, what was once a patch of vegetable plots has evolved into a popular cultural and tourist destination offering stunning views of the dam. The site now receives over 2,000 visitors a day on average.
By combining ecological rehabilitation with cultural tourism, the area has created a unique scenic spot overlooking Gezhouba, achieving a significant upgrade, from environmental improvement to a leisure destination, and finally to an integrated cultural tourism site. This serves as a vivid example of urban renewal and the conversion of ecological value into tangible public benefits, offering valuable insights for the development of riverside parks.
