After more than ten years’ tackle in a comprehensive way, Guan Zhuang has made remarkable achievements in the basin construction, which covers a conservation area of 13.3 square kilometers. The project also includes the transformation of the slope into terrace for about 1510 mu, the building of a forest for water and soil conservation for about 4240 mu, the planting of fruit-bearing trees for 11000mu and the construction of 360 small relevant water conservancy projects.
