This is the construction site of the Xiangxi-Yangtze River Highway Bridge On January 4th. The bridge, from Kuojiaba (in Zigui County) to the west bank of Xiangxi, Guizhou Town, with a total length of 5.9 kilometers, started construction on August 28th last year and will be completed and open to traffic in 2018. About 2.1 billion Yuan RMB has been invested to this project at the preliminary phase and amid its completion the Three Gorges transportation networks can be further optimized to promote coordinated regional development.
