On March 18th, Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County held the first Spring Tea and Garden Opening Festival.. At present, the ecological tea garden in Wufeng produces nearly 20,000 tons of dry tea and over 800 million yuan of agricultural output value of tea leaf, covering an area of over 190,000 mu. On spot, relevant responsible persons of 41 member companies from Wufeng Tea Association jointly published Wufeng’s Declaration of Tea Quality and Safety. Meanwhile, Wufeng Rural Commercial Bank provides 100 million yuan line of credit for Wufeng Tea Association. Tea companies are selling over 500 kilogram of tea on spot and attracting merchants from all over the country who order more than 5 million yuan.
