On July 12th, Yichang Olympic Center Gymnasium with its “Lily” shape stands towering like a giant, and its outside decoration and the interior construction are being done at the same time. It is learned that the gym covers an area of 1425 mu with a total construction area of 20, 0000 square meters and its total investment reaches RMB2.3 billion. The project consists of a 40,000-seat grade A stadium, a 8000-seat grade A gymnasium, a 1700-seat natatorium, a 2400-seat tennis and badminton hall and a 400-seat shooting hall, which present an enclosing layout.
