On May 8th, the aerial photograph has been taken of an ecological landscape in Xiaoxita Segment of Huangbaihe River, a tributary of the Yangtze River in Yiling District. Huangbaihe River ecological wetland covers an area of 380 hectares where the government of Yiling District is planning to open a wetland conservation park and build an original ecological landscape with the clear river and green shore.

　　In February this year, Yiling District started the construction of the comprehensive environmental management project of the Huangbai River valley, which mainly includes 26 subprojects of the four categories: water conservancy, urban construction, transportation and environmental protection. The estimated investment is 1.222 billion yuan. The planned construction period of this project is two years: the tributary river management project and flood control road reconstruction project will be finished in 2017, and the mainstream river management and other remaining projects will be completed in 2018.
