On the evening of September 21st in Yichang Theater where the Closing Ceremony of the Seventh Yangtze River Piano Festival was held, Zhao Talimu, the vice president of Chinese Musicians' Association declared the successful ending of the Piano Festival after his speech. Those who attended this ceremony with him were Wang Guobin, Shang Kui, Wu Kangnian, Tang Chao and other municipal leaders.

　　At the concert of the closing ceremony, eight winners of Yangtze River Piano &The Prime Golden Bell National Piano Contest for College Students (2017) played Leroy Anderson’s Carmen Fantasia and many famous composers’ classics, like, Franz Liszt, Ludwig van Beethoven, Maurice Ravel and Frederic Chopin. This piano festival was hosted by Chinese Musicians' Association and Yichang Municipal People's Government. Meanwhile, many activities have been hosted during this festival, such as China Music Education and Innovation-driven Development Forum: “Working Hard to Press Ahead”, Yangtze River Piano Master Class, Pianists Coming to Communities, Pianists Coming to Campus, seven concerts and Yangtze River Piano Festival & The Prime Golden Bell National Piano Contest for College Students (2017).
