On September 28th, landscape lights of Zhixi Yangtze River Bridge lit up the sky of Yichang.

　　The colored lighting system was put into use on that day. To avoid perpendicular light disturbance on rare fishes like the Chinese Sturgeon, computer-controlled spotlights were designed and installed in key parts of the bridge, including the main tower, cables, slings and box girders. The lighting system has adopted daily and holiday modes — primary color during workdays and various colors during holidays for the festive atmosphere.
