(Reporter: Liao Quan; Correspondent: Huang Haitao, Huang Kui) In the morning of March 25, 2018 Yuan’an Marathon starts with nearly 8,000 runners experiencing the fun of running and enjoying the physical beauty in spring.

　　2018 Yuan’an Field Marathon is sponsored by China Athletics’Association, Hubei Provincial Sports Federation, Yichang Sports Bureau, and the government of Yuan’an. The competition includes a full marathon (42.195 kilometers), a half marathon (21.0975 kilometers), and a mini & family marathon (7.5 kilometers).

　　Yuan’an Field Marathon, founded in 2016, is the first of the kind featuring fields in China, and its first event was awarded by the China Athletics’Association as a bronze event and an ecologically featured event. In this blooming season of spring in March, people can find beautiful views everywhere. The competitors can enjoy the fragrance of flowers and rural appeals when running along the beautiful countryside on the shore of Danxia landform and at the bank of Jushui River.

　　Finally, the players from Kenya won the men’s and women’s marathon championships.
