Love for “Children of the Stars”

  On April 1st, the activity of “Caring for Children with Autism, Sharing Love in the Same Blue Sky” is held in Binjiang Park, Yichang. “A Hundred Families Draw Star-Themed Scroll Painting Together” is aimed at caring for children with autism, calling on the society to care about and understand children with autism more.

  April 2nd is the 11th “World Autism Awareness Day”. With the theme of “With You, We are Not Alone”, a series of activities focusing on children with autism have been held in Yichang.

  On March 31st, the activity of “Flying Hopes, We are Not Alone with You” was held at the viewing platform of the Moji Mountain Forest Park in Dianjun district. This event promoted the public’s understanding of children with autism through various activities, such as displaying performance art, giving out leaflets, donating, flying blue kites, etc.

  On April 1st, the charity activity of “A Hundred Families Draw the Star-Themed Scroll Painting” was held in Binjiang Park, Yichang. 140 parent-child families painted star-themed comicson the 100-meter-long scroll to encourage and care for the children with autism(usually called children of the stars).

  Zhao Lu, head of Rising Stars, which is an autistic children's potential development center, is the mother of an autistic child. She hoped that autistic children could integrate into normal social activities after this integration and communication activity. At the same time, she also appealed to parents: "The age between 0 and 6 is the golden rehabilitation period for autistic children. The parents of children with autism should have a positive attitude to cooperate with doctors and teachers and work together with them for the recovery of children."

  More than 1,200 caring people participated in the two activities and more than 9,000 yuan’s worth of school supplies, toys and books were raised.
