Pedestrianscrossed the road in an orderly manner under the guidance of the green light. On the same day, the High-tech Zone Construction and Management Office and the Police Brigade of the High-tech Zone supervised the construction units to restore the traffic lightsdismantled during the road reconstruction, so that pedestrians could easily cross the road.

　　On March 13 this year, Gao Xia made a phone call to the newspaper and reflectedthat the safety island at the Zhuhai intersection had been dismantled since the road was rebuilt, and the transportation facilities, the traffic lights, used to be installed on the safety island had also been dismantled. Later, she saw that the pavement had been recovered after the demolition of the island, but the pedestrian traffic lightshad notbeen recovered.

　　Gao Xia said that without the traffic lights, it was inconvenient for people to goout to buy vegetables at Dongshan vegetable market and cross the road. Without the guidance of the traffic lights, people often went cross the road with the cars, which was very dangerous for them.

　　According to this situation reflected by the masses, the reporter interviewed the relevant officials of the Traffic Police Brigade of the High-tech Zone and learned that the District Construction and Management Office of the High-tech Zone implemented the demolition of safety island and the restoration of the road surface project during the reconstruction along the Development Avenue. The traffic lightswill be resumed as the project progress.

　　In April, many people successively reflected that there was no traffic light atZhuhai intersection. They said that withoutthe traffic lights, people werealwayskeepingcautious whencrossing the road, especiallythe elder people.

　　On April11, after receiving the feedback from ourreporter, the relevant person in charge of the Construction and Management Office of the High-tech Zone immediately united the traffic police brigade of the High-tech Zone and the project construction unit,Hubei Jinyang Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. to solve the traffic lights problem atZhuhai intersectionon the spot. Han Tao,theproject leader of Hubei Jinyang Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., said that the traffic lightsat the Zhuhai intersection would be lit up within a week.

　　On April 16, the construction unit installed all the traffic lights at Zhuhaiintersection. On April 17, the traffic lights at the intersectionofficially started running. Because of the lightening of the traffic lights, pedestrians felt at ease.

　　According to Han Tao, the follow-up work of the project will build a two-step road-crossing facility at the Zhuhai intersection of the Development Avenueto solvethe problemthat the elderly and childrenwalk slow and do not have enough timewhencrossingthe roadwith one step, so that they can cross the roadwith a light heart.
