On May 23rd, more than 50 “womanartisans of embroider” from the immigrant entrepreneurshipcenter of theXujiachongVillagein Taipingxi Town, Yiling County, were making wormwood cloth ornaments branded Chinese Sturgeon by hand. The townutilizes its geographicaladvantage of being located very near the Three Gorges Dam and thereservoir,adopting an ecology-featured idea of hand-made embroidery+ wormwood + cotton and linen, and has developed such hand-made embroidery products with rich local characteristics. And the productshave won the first prize forarts and craftsinHubei Province Tourism Product Design Contest, and have been exported to the United States, Japan and other countries.
