Qinggangling ecological tea garden, at YuyangGuan town in Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County, is full of green in the morning sunlight. As the hometown of China’s famous tea and the top ten eco-producing tea counties in China, Wufeng Tujia Autonomous County insists on the idea of “promoting tourism with tea and developing tea by tourism for mutual promotion”, so as to promote the integration of industries, build an ecological tea industry chain. Taking tea tourism as the carrier, global tourism pattern has been gradually formed. Besides, tea-making and tea folk-custom experiences have become increasingly popular in Tujia tea country. It is learned that in 2017, the Wufeng tea garden covered an area of 213,000 mu and the newly developed tea garden reached 11,000 mu with the annual tea production reached 204,000 tons. The value of agricultural production of tea reached 920 million RMB and the comprehensive output value reached 2.3 billion RMB, with year-on-year growth of 15 percent.
