At present, the First Phase of the Baiyang Operating Area in Baiyang Industrial Park of the High-Tech Zone has successfully passed the completion acceptance inspection, therefore, becoming the first port project in Hubei Province to pass the completion acceptance inspection after the new "Administrative Regulations on Port Engineering Construction" issued by the Ministry of Transport. The Baiyang Operating Area Phase I consists of six berths with 3,000-ton (including 5000-ton), and the completion of this project kicked off the official operation of the Three Gorges Dam System.
