On August 14^th, workers carried out the basic operation of shore power on the south bank of the Three Gorges Damin Zuigui Tourism Homeport.

　　The Zigui Tourism Homeport of the Three Gorges has 6 pump ships and 12 berths for ship of ten thousand tons, 3000 passenger ships per year,and 2 million passenger throughputs. After the completion of the port, the total capacity of electricity is 7500 kVA, and it is estimated that the annual replacement capacity is 12 million kWh, which can replace 3,060 tons of fuel, and reduce 9638.92 tons of carbon dioxide,5.54 tons of carbon monoxide, 14.57 tons of sulfur dioxide and 9.32 tons of nitrogen oxide.(Correspondent: Lei Yong, Mei Xuefei Photograph)
