Fine Arts Open to Audiences

  On the evening of August 22nd, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of reform and opening-up, the Yichang Mass Fine Arts Performance was staged at the Wuyi Theater. This performance are not only some representatives of intangible cultural heritage, such as Nanqu, Yidu Nan Tube and Yuan’an Huagu, but also the local customs of Tujia Minority with a dance of Throwing Bowls After Wine, and a song of Great People in Peaceful Times to praise the beautiful hometown. While The River Chief Patrol the River accompanied by Three Gorges Yugu (bamboo percussion and folk tales) introduced that Yichang people paid attention to ecological protection to get rid of poverty, and the short sketch "Under the Cherry Tree" focused on filial piety culture.
