On September 16, Yichang’s First Cheongsam Culture, Tourism Festival and the 2018 Chinese Cheongsam TV Grand Prix and the 5th World Cheongsam Song and Dance Contest (Hubei Station) were opened. More than a thousand beauties wearing cheongsam gathered in Yichang to showcase the charm of cheongsam and women’s elegance. In the afternoon of the same day, 33 cheongsam groups and 77 contestants competed with each other. Eight people including Zhou Qin won the first prize, and six teams including Fengyasong Art Group of Zhijiang Branch won the Team Golden Diamond Award. In the next two days, the contestants went to the People Scenic Three Gorges, the Three Gorges Dam and Longquan Ancient Town to carry out a series of activities.
