With the Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, people began to recall Wang Zhaojun inthe full moon. Onthe evening of September 21, the opening ceremony of the first session of “Zhaojun Cultural Tourism Activity Month” as well as the Cultural Show of “ThinkingofWang Zhaojun during the Mid-Autumn Festival”was held in urban areas. The performance groups from Hohhot and Yichang came to the festival to give performances of matouqin, poetry recitation, dancing and other 14 shows. It is reported that during the one-month-longactivity, Xinshan County will hold nine activities with the theme of Zhaojun Culture, such as special lectures, chrysanthemum exhibitions, Chaotianhourock music and Zhaojun Village Food Festival,and give a "cultural feast” to the public and tourists.
