The first Chinese Farmers’ Harvest Festival in Yichang and the sixth Citrus Festival in Yichang, Hubei province opened in Yiling District on Sep. 21. Representatives of domestic and foreign businessmen, e-commerce and farmers gathered in Guanzhuang Village to celebrate the harvest. The theme of this harvest festival was “Celebrating Harvest and Increasing Farmers’ Income” containing three chapters: “Smelling the fragrance of citrus”, Enjoying the performance in the hometown of citrus” and “Selling citrus all over the world”. Several activities were held on the spot, such as displaying of quality agricultural products, visiting the citrus orchard, experts tasting of citrus and International Citrus Purchaser’s Conference.
