The picture shows the new Yichang Museum, which is currently being redecorated and exhibited. With a total investment of 736 million yuan and the main building covering of 43,080, the project is located in Wujiagang district.The main building of the museum is based on the concept of the “window of history”. It integrates the historical and cultural elements of Bachuculture and is of great historical and cultural characteristics. Themed“Xia Jin Tian Kai(The sky opens up at the end of the XilingGorge)”,the new museum boasts10 exhibition sections and 33 units. More than 7000 pieces/sets of cultural relics (folk exhibits, etc. ) are to be displayed. The museum is expected to open to the public in March 2019.
