On April 4, “Chexi Old Street”, elaborately built by Yichang Materials Group,entered upon business. Its Tujia version of “Millennium City Park”showed the grand view of Tujia rivers in old times. Over 3,000 tourists from home and abroad witnessed the grandeur of the opening on that morning.

　　The Old Street is located in Chexi village of Tucheng town, Dianjun district. Based on Tujia Ancient Town, which has disappeared along the Qingjiang River, the Old Street is an ethnic-featured product in line with the modern cultural tourism. Chexi will continue to explore the Tujia culture, including local historical stories and farming culture, making the scenic spot a business card for Yichang tourism culture.
