
From May 18th to 19th , the WDSF International Sports Dance Open and Yichang of China Sports Dance Open were held in Yichang Olympic Sports Center. Over 5,700 athletes from 12 countries and regions including France, Russia and Ukraine had competitions on the same stage to get the prize. After two days fierce competition, two major and six groups of champions were produced.
The Junior Group Latin Dance Champion was won by Razvan·Andre·Zahariya and Anna·Maria·Talzianu from Romania, the Junior Standard Dance Champion was won by Russian Kurpin·Nikita and Sunakova·Sophia; The Youth Group Latin Dance Champion and the Youth Group Standard Dance champion were both won by Vladislav ·Wentu and Paulina·Baresnicova of Moldova; The Open Group Latin Dance Champion was won by Andrei·Gusef and Villa·Bundareva of Russia, and the Open Group Standard Dance Championship was won by Francisco·Gallupo and Deborah·Paccini of Italy.
2019 Yichang of China Sports Dance Open consisted of two major items: Standard Dance and Latin Dance, as well as 126 small items such as professional groups, over 35-year-old group, and youth group, and a total of 126 champions were produced.
The competition was jointly sponsored by the World Sports Dance Federation, the China Sports Dance Federation, the Provincial Sports Bureau, and the Municipal Government. It is the second time that the world sports dance events held in Yichang after the first World Youth Latin Dance Championship in 2009. In addition to the stipulations of the WDSF World Sports Dance Open, the China-Europe Youth Match and Junior Matches were added for the first time.
