On July 25, workers were treating the gaps in the newly built apron at the construction site of the second phase reconstruction and expansion project of the Sanxia Airport.

　　According to the on-site person in charge, special sealant will be injected into the ground seam after cutting to prevent rainwater from seeping into it due to thermal expansion and contraction. By August, the project covering 62,000 square meters will be completed.

　　So far, 182.5 meters of vertical taxiways, a total of 235 meters of two fast taxiways and 180 meters of extension lines of runways outside the perimeter have all been finished. The construction work of airfield like parallel taxiways inside the perimeter and auxiliary work such as patrol roads, perimeter and fire-fighting works are under intense construction.
