　　Three Gorges Daily News(Reporter: Lei Pengcheng) On the evening of September 6, the volunteer service group of China Federation of Literature and Art came to Yichang to perform at the Olympic Sports Center. Artists and guests from all over China gathered in Yichang to salute the People’s Republic of Chinatogether with Yichang people along the Yangtze River in the way of theatrical performances.

　　Entrusted by Jiang Chaoliang, Hubei Provincial Party Committee Secretary and Wang Xiaodong, Governor of Hubei Province, Zhou Ji, on behalf of the provincial government, municipal government and the people of Yichang, warmly welcomed all the guests. He said that since the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949, under the strong leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, we have made brilliant achievements.Hubei has seized such important strategic opportunities as the construction of the Yangtze River economic belt and the rise of the central region, and has made every effort to answer the examination questions of the times, thus it is changing each day. Yichang is the hometown of Qu Yuan and Wang Zhaojun, and a world famous hydropower city. It has a long history, rich culture, rich resources, and is open and inclusive. At present, we are keeping the instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping in mind during his visit to the Yangtze River, and Yichang, the first stop to Hubei, striving to write a new chapter of high-quality development and meticulously draw a new picture of a better life. The Chinese Federation of Literary and Art Circles has adhered to the people-centered creative orientation, meticulously created a cultural feast for the benefit of the people, and delivered the artistic feast to the Yichang people's right in Yichang. Let's take the Three Gorges along the Yangtze River as evidence to share the festivities and wish the motherland prosperity and the people happiness and well-being.

　　The performance is divided into three chapters: "Remembering the Original Aspiration besides the Yangtze River", "Loving my Country in Deep White Clouds" and "A New Era of Magnificent Voyages". During the two-hour performance, there were songs I Love You China, Dear Chinaand Singing for the Motherland, which paid tribute to the great motherland China; there were songs MeetingBesides the Yangtze River,The Voice of the Yangtze River, theEndlessRolling ofthe Yangtze River,which praised the magnificent Yangtze River,Good Voice of the Yangtze Riverand Rolling East of the Yangtze River. There were also programs showing the beautiful Yichanglike Falling in Love with Yichang, Best Guest in the Three GorgesandPoetic Dance of The Three Gorges,and the songThe Pillars of a Great Powerwas specially created for this performance. All these 20 programs, in the form of songs, poetry recitation, drama and dance, songs and acrobatics, crosstalk, chorus, etc., bring a cultural and artistic feast to the audience.

　　Relevant departments of Chongqing Municipality and Hubei Province and representatives of relevant districts and counties, representatives of cities along the Yangtze River, heads of central and provincial news units, well-known artists, representatives of well-known online media, representatives of domestic and foreign entrepreneurs, representatives of the Three Gorges Project builders, moral models representatives, government offices, enterprises and public institutions and people from all walks of life attended the event.
