On Sept.27, the Zigui Yangtze River Bridge was completed and opened to traffic. Byfar, all counties along the Yangtze River in the Three Gorges Reservoir areahave their own Yangtze River Bridge.

The bridge starts at the exit of Micangkou Tunnel in Guojiaba Town, stretches across the Yangtze River from Bingshubaojian Gorge, then across the XiangxiRiver at Liujiaba, and endsatXiangjiadian on the west bank of Xiangxi River, Guizhou Town.The bridge coversa total distanceof 5.419 km.
