On the morning of October 15, the 34th Chrysanthemum Exhibition press conference was held in Yichang Garden Center, introducing the basic information and preparations. According to the press conference, this year’s chrysanthemum exhibition will be displayed in Longquan Town, Yiling District, from October 24 to late November, during that period citizens can enjoy the show free.

　　It is reported that the theme of this year's chrysanthemum exhibition is "the prosperity of chrysanthemums in this flourishing age, the spectacular scene in the modern city", focusing on the city's construction achievements and ecological civilization since the founding of new China 70 years ago, trying to make citizens have a sense of gain, happiness, and achievements. This year's chrysanthemum exhibition will display 15 groups of large-scale chrysanthemum, 150 pieces of styling chrysanthemum, 1,000 varieties of chrysanthemum, more than 200,000 pots of chrysanthemum. The overall number of chrysanthemums is nearly as the same as that of last year.

　　It’s understood that the chrysanthemum show of this year is different from the last one in subject. It makes efforts to explore and display the cultural connotation deeply.

　　There are quite a few changes in exhibition areas, including more flexible layouts, more diverse plant combinations and more choices of scenery materials. Visitors can not only enjoy Chinese traditional chrysanthemums such as Black Chrysanthemum, Shuaiqi, and Green Peony, but also enjoy the new varieties of chrysanthemums.

　　During the Chrysanthemum Exhibitions, the citizens can participate in over 13 activities such as the the "Old Rhyme in Dragon City"of the Singing in A New Era, and the "Longquan Impression"of the New China and “Ten miles Gallery”of New Blueprint ,while enjoying the hundreds of chrysanthemums and the style of the ancient town. It covers a wide range of activities such as photography, music, folklore, and reading. It meets the needs of citizens and visitors through different types of activities, and offers a rich "cultural feast" for the citizens and tourists.

　　It coincides with the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China. In this exhibition, the exhibitions, texts and old photos of different periods are used to show the changes in our ecological environment and the improvement of urban and rural residents' lives in the past 70 years.

　　There are also the theme scenes designed and built for 7 eras. Through the "picture plus real thing plus music plus flower"and "scene restoration plus interactive experience", we will focus on the developments of Yichang City in the 70 years since the founding of the China and People's Political Consultative. In addition to the achievements exhibition, this series of activities also includes "My motherland and me"reading party, the second Longquan Tourism Festival and Longquan folklore show.

　　Enjoy Chrysanthemum in 3 Special Ways

　　It is understood that this year, there are two large tourist attractions named the Three Gorges Longquan Lake and the Blue Beauty children's Dream Town in Longquan Town. At the same time, two traffic lanes Wulong Road and Songbai Road are open to traffic, and the Longquan area of the Bailihuang Agricultural Tourism Integration Demonstration Belt has been fully opened with more unobstructed road. Three special tourist routes were arranged around the Chrysanthemum Exhibition.The first is Happy Family Trip. After the enjoying of Chrysanthemum Exhibitions, tourists can go to the Blue Beauty Children’s Dream Town through Xiaoya Road and Wulong Road. The town includes three sections: high-tech agriculture, parent-child play, research and education. There are many play facilities, as well as VR science museum, indoor trampoline park, live CS base, high-tech agricultural exhibition hall and other special items, which are worth playing.

　　The second is Country Tour. Along the Linhe Road to the north, through the Faguanquan Village, Qinglong Village, and Xiangyansi Village, you can experience the fun activities of picking, fleshy bonsai DIY, flower arrangement, etc. through the Faguanquan Fig Garden and Jinhe Flower Center.There are colorful slides, glass bridges, glass water slides, high-altitude swings and other play projects in the Three Gorges Longquan Lake opposite Jinhe. After visiting Longquan Lake, you can also taste authentic food at the farmhouses such as Huajian in Qinglong Village and Longlin Pavilion.

　　The third is a Cool Autumn tour. Drive north, through Leijiatun Village, Baijiaping Village, and directly along Songbai Road to the Bailihuang Scenic Area.
