On November 1st, German biophysicist,thewinner of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, Professor Irwin Nell, and his wife, Eva Maria,together with Xu Tao,the academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and vice president of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, visited Yichang No.1 middle school, and awarded the plaque of "Nell innovation experiment class" to class 1917 and class 1918 of No.1 middle school. This is the first time that Professor Elvin Nell has named a class after himself in China.
