On March 26, workers were stepping up pouring the pier of the Gufute Bridge in Hubei Xingshan section of Zhengzhou-Wanzhou high-speed railway, trying to make up for the delayed time. Zheng -Wan high speed railway, a major national transportation project, is an important part of the "eight vertical and eight horizontal high-speed railway network" in the country’s mid- and long-term railway network plan. As the first section started in Hubei, more than 1,700 people are currently on duty, at about 90% of arrival rate. Under the premise of strict implementation of epidemic prevention and control measures such as physical examination in advance, wearing masks, checking body temperature and dispersing meals, the construction unit shall organize scientific construction to catch up the schedule and ensure the opening by the end of next year.
