Thousands of stone tools, such as choppers, cuspate tools, scrapers, and handpicks, have been unearthed in the archaeological work in the Jiuligang Site, Dangyang City, and a small-sized stoneware processing plant may also be uncovered. This new discovery is of great value for unveiling people’s production and life of the late Paleolithic period and the transition to the early Neolithic culture in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.
