On October 27, in the Juanqiao River wetland park along the bank of Yichang section of the Yangtze River, people felt slight chill in the late autumn and birds were larking everywhere in the reeds and green belts along the river. In 2018, Yichang launched the program (including 63 projects) of ecological protection and restoration of mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes and grasses in the Three Gorges region of the Yangtze River in Hubei Province. By the end of June this year, 61 projects had been basically completed. Now the Yangtze River coastline has become a beautiful home where people and nature live in harmony.
