On December 14, villagers of Yesangping Village, Shuitianba Township, Zigui County picked navel oranges in the field. It is the season when the oranges come into the market with a bumper harvest in winter. The local villagers took advantage of the sunny days to harvest, transport and package them and supply them to the market through various channels. Zigui is a famous hometown of navel oranges. There are fresh oranges on the market all the year round. More than 66,000 acres of navel oranges are planted in the county, with an annual output of 800,000 tons and a gross output value of 10 billion yuan.
