More than 300 Shanghai tourists arrived in Yichang at 14:44 on April 17th by the D953 “JING’AN-YI LING” Tourist Train, launching a 5-day cultural tour of the Yangtze Three Gorges, empowering the cultural and tourism cooperation between Shanghai Municipality and Hubei Province, as well as rural revitalization in Yiling District. This activity announces the official restart of the “JING’AN-YI LING” Tourist Train, which was suspended about one year ago.

　　The “JING’AN-YI LING” Tourist Train began its operation in 2021, and was suspended in 2022 due to the epidemic’s impact. This year, Shanghai and Hubei have joined forces once more to restart the tourist train. The train presents a combination of “high-speed rail + scenic spot tourism + rural tourism”, integrating the excellent cultural tourism resources of Yichang. In addition to high-quality tourist attractions such as the Three Gorges Dam, the Three Gorges Tribe Scenic Spot, the Three Gorges Grand Waterfall and the Qingjiang Gallery, a 5A tourist attraction as well during the trip of five days & four nights, tourists enjoying to experience the culture and immerse themselves in the unique scenery of Yichang, the hydropower capital.
