Finless porpoises merrily jump up and down in the clear waters near the Gezhouba Dam on the Yichang section of the Yangtze River. With the implementation of the Three-Year Action Plan for Building Yichang into a Model City for the Protection of the Yangtze River (2023-2025), recent years have witnessed more lucid waters and lusher mountains in the section.
