On May 27th, tea farmers were picking summer tea at the sightseeing tea garden base of the National Modern Agriculture Industrial Park in Luofo Village, Taipingxi Town, Yiling District.

　　At present, with the goal of “developing an industry with an enterprise guiding and key households supported”, Yiling District has developed its tea industry from scattered planting to large-scale industrialization. The tea gardens of the whole district have reached 33,000 mu (15,533 hectares) in total, with an annual output of 35,400 tons of dry tea, and 100,000 tea farmers have increased their income. The ecological tea garden base of Luofo Village was named “Hubei Yiling National Modern Agriculture Industrial Park Sightseeing Tea Garden” in 2020. (Photo by Correspondent/Zhang Guorong)
